Less Than 30 Tickets Left To Win An iPad

We have less than 30 tickets left to win the “New” iPad with the amazing Retina display, also known as the iPad 3. It is the 16GB WiFi version. Tickets are $10 each and will be available again at the August 23rd meeting this Thursday. I suspect they will be gone by the end of the meeting, so get them when you arrive. Kimmie will be there ready to sell them.

As cool as the iPad is though, I wouldn’t recommend doing this with one, at least not through Ortega!

Get OCHOGRideAlert Updates On Your Phone

You can get our ride alerts on your phone. Almost as soon as the decision is made to cancel, modify or delay a ride, you will have that info right on your phone.

The service is free, but your carrier might charge you a nominal fee per message if you don’t have a text/SMS plan. Contact your carrier if you are unsure.

  • Send a text message to 40404 with the small message follow ochogridealert. That’s it! You may receive a confirmation from Twitter on your phone, as well as the last ride notice we sent out.
  • If you already have a Twitter account, that should be it. If you do not, you may get additional Tweets from Twitter recommending other Twitter users. Those do not come from OCHOG. You can sign up for a Twitter account for free and tell it to stop making suggestions, which I recommend doing.

You can see more detailed information about how this works here.
