Get Site Updates Via Email

When we first launched this new site back in June, we used a service called FeedMyInbox that allowed you to get site updates via email. Unfortunately, that service is shutting down. That happens occasionally with good services.

You can still get updates though with a new service that is now built into the website itself. Just go to the bottom of this page in the lower left corner and put in your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time and we assure you, your email address will never be used for anything other than getting updates. We hate spam too!

Share Posts And Pages On Your Favorite Social Network

Now every page and post on OCHOG.org can be shared on one or more of your favorite social networks. Just click one of the icons in the “Share This” section of that page.

Look for links on the page similar to this to share the the page.

Right now, options include:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Pinterest
  • Tumbler
  • Google+
  • LinkedIn

There are also two other buttons that allow you to email the link to someone or just print it out on paper if you want. Hopefully the new functionality will work well for you.

Be Sure To “Like” The New Orange Coast HOG Facebook Page

This will be the last update on the website you’ll see on the old Orange Coast HOG Facebook page. The new page is here and rather than friend it, you click the Like button.

There are a number of reasons for doing this, many of which relate to backend administration. You can still post messages, like posts, like other’s comments, and more. There will be a lot of new content on the page too, like content from Harley Davidson, other motorcycle sites, and occasionally, just a motorcycling picture that is too good to pass up.

So if you are on Facebook, go there now and Like it!

The Latest Ride Calendar Is Available

The latest ride calendar, taking us all the way through the end of the year, is now available on the Event Calendar page.

The calendar is, as usual, jam packed with all sorts of activities. First and foremost is the November 2 Injured Warrior Appreciation Ride. If you haven’t signed up for that, what are you waiting for? Grab your credit card or your PayPal info and sign up with our online registration page.

We also have the Monterey 4 day overnighter, rides to Temecula, Rock Inn, Palm Springs and more. Last but not least, set aside Saturday, December 8 for the annual OCHOG Christmas Party. Signups for that will be forthcoming at the monthly meetings.

All of the events are in Google Calendar. If you use Google Calendar, you can just click on an event and then the “copy to my calendar” link and you’re all set.
