The Injured Warrior Run last Friday was a phenominal success. There were hundreds of bikes and hundreds more in attendence, counting the Marines on base.
The local media took notice too. Here are just a few of the links I saw:
On October 28, nearly two dozen members of OCHOG met and assembled over 300 bags to be handed out at the Injured Warrior Appreciation Ride, doing their best to ensure every bag got all of the great freebies from our excellent sponsors, as well as the right sized t-shirt for those that registered by October 15. We want to thank every single volunteer that gave their time to make the IWAR a success!
There were a LOT of pics for the actual day of the ride. They will be posted by Sunday of this week. If you have some and haven’t sent them in, see the info on this page to submit pictures..
The 2013 Overnighter schedule for OCHOG is ready to go. It is on the Event Calendar page. Check the dates and go ahead and start asking for time off from work!
The online registration for the 2012 Inaugural Injured Warrior Appreciation Run is now closed, but you can still go! You just need to show up early on November 2 at the Orange County Harley Davidson dealer with cash in hand. More information is available here.
If you are unable to attend or just want to contribute to this worthy cause, you can still do so here by clicking on the Donate button.
