Riders and Passengers-

Thank you for registering for the Inaugural Injured Warrior Appreciation Run. The following is important information that will help make your event experience a positive one. Staging and ride check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. Motorcycle parking will be located on Research Drive facing Bake Parkway and reserving your place in the train is on a first come, first serve basis. Traffic control will be on site to help direct you to the parking location. Each rider and passenger will be required to sign a release form at the bottom of this email. Please complete the form and bring it with you in the morning to expedite the check-in process. Release forms will be available at the check-in tables.

The ride will depart Orange County Harley-Davidson at 9:30 a.m. and the entire route is being escorted by Motorcade Protective Services, Inc. It is a requirement of Camp Pendleton that all motorcyclists wear long sleeves, gloves, and over the ankle shoes when riding on the base. On behalf of the Orange Coast HOG Chapter, thank you very much for your support of the Warriors. They ask for so little and together we can do so much to make their recovery a little easier. I look forward to riding with you on November 2nd.

I want to thank everyone for registering. This is shaping up to be a fantastic ride. Early registration is closed now, which means no more t-shirts. Last night was the cuttoff to get sizing info to the printer so they will be ready by November 2. However, we are still taking online registrations until October 31, so please register if you haven’t yet.

Early registration for the 2012 Injured Warrior Appreciation Run ends on Monday, October 15. You will still be able to register for the ride until October 31, but you will not get a T-Shirt with your registration, so please, if you haven’t registered, do it this weekend!
