*Added the Boulder Bypass route from the Boulder City Chevron. This map for the second half of day 2 will bypass the Valley of Fire and get you in to Vegas earlier, if you choose.

From Jerome’s in Anaheim. Join us as we follow the Colorado River north through Parker, the Parker Dam, Lake Havasu and staying near the London Bridge for night #1. We’ll cruise by Topock Gorge and a Chapter favorite, Oatman, to see the donkeys! We’ll grab Route 66 through Kingman and then up to the Hoover Dam, wrapping around Lake Mead, through the Valley of Fire State Park ($15 entrance fee), and finishing up at Freemont Street for night #2. Thanks to the recent rain, the beautiful journey home through the Mohave National Preserve and across the desert should be breathtaking!

Starting from the Anaheim Starbucks, we’ll then be heading out to Indio and the Joshua Tree Saloon for gas and breakfast then down the beautiful Twentynine Palms Highway and around the Salton Sea, across the 78 East down the scenic Ogilby Rd, across the 8 back to Ocotillo for a stop for Gas and lunch at Red Feather. Continuing on the S2 and winding our way up and back home around 6:45pm. A bit of a long day, it should be beautiful and guaranteed to be a lot of fun!

The Wolfpack is the nationally ranked wheel chair basketball team from Warrior Foundation Freedom station. Come join us on a ride as we show our support during their home tournament. This is a destination ride so ride down to San Diego together and then stay and watch the games as long as you like before heading back home.
