You can get our ride alerts on your phone. Almost as soon as the decision is made to cancel, modify or delay a ride, you will have that info right on your phone.
The service is free, but your carrier might charge you a nominal fee per message if you don’t have a text/SMS plan. Contact your carrier if you are unsure.
- Send a text message to 40404 with the small message follow ochogridealert. That’s it! You may receive a confirmation from Twitter on your phone, as well as the last ride notice we sent out.
- If you already have a Twitter account, that should be it. If you do not, you may get additional Tweets from Twitter recommending other Twitter users. Those do not come from OCHOG. You can sign up for a Twitter account for free and tell it to stop making suggestions, which I recommend doing.
